Books Open The World in Uganda

Books Open the World (BOTW) is a non-profit, secular organization that seeks to promote and encourage education and opportunity in rural communities to children and women through community libraries, literacy classes, vocational training, support groups, and by supporting all levels of education.

Included in this region is Kigarama, Ibura, Kanyawara and Ruteete to the upper Northwest, and Nkingo to the central East. Preschool and Community Library with adult literacy classes, as well as the Kibale Women's Club, in Kanyawara Community Library with adult literacy classes in Nkingo Secondary School scholarships for girls, Community Library with adult literacy classes, and a remedial learning/tutoring program, in Kigarama Community Library with adult literacy classes, and a remedial learning/tutoring program, in Ruteete
