Ballpark Direct sells baseball memorabilia and autographs online. Not wanting to limit their business by defining a specific object, Ballpark Direct tasked Union Design & Photo with creating an abstract design that captured the spirit of the sport. A swinging arc connects the wordmark to a series of expanding arrows, evoking the stitching of the side of a baseball and implying movement from one location to another (the process of merchandise coming to the customer). This identity hit a home run with the client.
