Coupon Quarters provide direct mail solutions to businesses of all sizes. To draw attention to the identity, Union took a different tack and instead concentrated on an everyday object associated with coupons, scissors. Shown in the process of cutting, it immediately evokes both sharpness, clarity, and the idea of clipping for values. The handles of the scissors are cut to create a stylized lettermark of CQ, tying it to the company name. This identity was included in the industry design annual LogoLounge II.
