Jack Donovan needed a dynamic wordmark to aid in name recognition for his bid to run for Gainesville City Commission. A slab serif typeface communicates strength and trust, and the stars project both a patriotic feel and an ability to look to the future horizons. This design certainly got the vote—and so did Jack.
